Filipino-American Makes Top 24 on American Idol
Say hello to the smokinnnn hot Ramiel Malubay from Miramar, Florida. Ramiele just made the top 24 of this years competition of American Idol. American Idol is always so much better when there's a Filipino-American that we can all root. Remember the season with Jasmine Trias and Camile Velasco?.. best season ever! Well, this year we can experience the same excitement. Let's support this Filipino-American artist. In the US. Filipinos rarely get a chance to shine in the Hollywood spotlight so let's make sure she gets far so she can rep for us Filipinos. Remember to vote, vote, vote if you can. I will keep you all updated with her progess throughout the competition. I gotta start watching American Idol ASAP!

Started in 1993, D1 is a collegiate organization dedicated to promoting awareness of issues pertaining to Filipinos nationwide, preserving and promoting Filipino Culture, and providing the means for initiating action and dialogue within the community.
D1 consists of Filipino culture clubs from the following member schools: Berklee College of Music, Boston College, Boston University, Brown University, Clarke University, Harvard University, MIT, Northeastern University, Tufts University, University of Massachusetts Boston, and Wellesley College.
