District One Executive Board Mission Statement
"District One" E-Board serves as a resource for its member schools and the community by promoting awareness and discussion of Filipino culture in order to strengthen unity in the New England region.
What is D1?
Started in 1993, District One is a collegiate organization dedicated to promoting awareness of issues pertaining to Filipinos nationwide, preserving and promoting Filipino Culture, and providing the means for initiating action and dialogue within the community.
D1 comprises an alliance of Filipino cultural clubs between the following member schools: Berklee College of Music, Boston College, Boston University, Brown University, Clarke University, Harvard University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Northeastern University, Tufts University, University of Massachusetts Boston, and Wellesley College.
BUFSA's Danelle Cometa and Krystal Balagot were spotted at FSA's Ice Skating Event on January 20th at Agganis Arena in Boston University.my sources at the event tell me that
Alex Razon, Recreations Coordinator of FSA, couldn't balance on his skates and had to be helped around the rink the WHOLE TIME by Danelle and Krystal HAHAH. good job A-Raz!
