WHAT TO BRING:
YOU are your own answer. The essence of D1 is simply the cohesiveness of its member schools. And it is difficult to understand the nature of D1 without all of you together! :)
- Any and all D1 members (E-Boards and general members alike!)
- A copy of your school's skit on DVD (to be viewed during meeting)
- Traditional Blurb (to be shared with others during meeting)
WHY:
- Food, Ice-breakers, Fun!
- Pre-viewing of each school's skit
- To seek opportunities to become more involved in the show aside from your own dances
- Serves as a great opportunity for you to meet other students in D1 (more notably, those you will be performing with just TWO weeks thereafter!)
In the past, we have been asked several times: "What exactly IS D1?"
YOU are your own answer. The essence of D1 is simply the cohesiveness of its member schools. And it is difficult to understand the nature of D1 without all of you together! :)
We understand that it's crunch time and the timing of this event may conflict with dance practices, however, we do encourage you to make adjustments to accommodate this two and a half hour event - while the dance component of Kamayan is essential, so is the coming together of those participating and/or watching. Please try to attend! :)
